This course focuses on the integral role of dispatchers and clerks in the mission of Community Policing.

Participants will investigate the relationships between dispatchers, officers on the street, and administrative personnel and will learn how clerks and dispatchers can integrate Community Policing philosophy into their assignments.

Participants also will learn how dispatchers and clerks can contribute to community involvement in preventing crime and keeping order.
