In this course, participants will become familiar with data collection and entry. CAD (Computer Aided Design) systems, and the different ways data such as crime statistics can be illustrated graphically by geo-maps.

Participants will learn how geo-mapping relates to problem solving and other police operations and will be able to develop and maintain a data collection system that can be used to assist in day-to-day operation at all levels of the law enforcement agency.

Pre-requisite: Basic skill in using a computer.
