In this course, participants will become familiar with the laws outlined in titles 1 through 5 of the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Participants will learn to identify members of the special needs population and the needs of the elderly; specifically focusing on the aging process, seniors at risk and special medical conditions.

Participants will be taught to recognize signs and symptoms of elder abuse/neglect, causes of elder abuse/neglect and investigative techniques to be used in situations of elder abuse/neglect.
