This course focuses on the process of engaging residents in neighborhood problem solving through prevention and intervention. 

Participants will become familiar with various community mobilization processes and skilled in setting up a framework for the mobilization of people and other resources. 

Participants will understand the problem-solving model and will learn ways to increase and assess the effectiveness of the community's mobilization programs.
