Collaboration between the police and the community is integral to the success of Community Policing. 

This course is designed to develop the police officer's ability to understand the community's perspective and lead by facilitating collaborative problem solving. 

The course focuses on the importance of collaboration, strategies for organizing community collaboration, and use of the SARA (scanning, analysis, response, assessment) model in the collaborative problem-solving process.
