This 4-day (32 hour) course provides training for those who will instruct others in Community Policing. It focuses on the Facilitative Mode of Training based on the principles of adult learning.
Participants will learn the history and philosophy of facilitation as well as adult learning theories, especially Kolb's Cycle.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be skilled in adult learning techniques. They will know how to facilitate group learning and how to develop a positive climate for learning. Participants also will know how to develop and present a facilitative curriculum.
