This course will acquaint participants with strategies for preventing violence in the workplace and with crisis intervention techniques.

Participants will learn to identify conditions and profiles that lead to violence and techniques for de-escalation and avoidance of violent incidents.

Participants also will learn to develop policy and procedures to deal with crisis in the workplace. They will understand self-protection and legal issues that provide protection from violence for employees and organizations.
