This course stresses the acceptance and understanding of cultural diversity as a necessity in creating successful community partnerships.  

Participants will have the opportunity to experience the cause and effect relationship inherent in cultural and human diversity.  They will explore how personal experiences and identities affect one's ability to work with others who are "different".  The course acknowledges that all individuals have the responsibility to create an environment that respects and benefits from diversity. 

Upon completion of the module, participants will be prepared to train others in facilitating the "Cultural Awareness: Building Inclusive Communities" module. 

Participants will be tested at the beginning of the session and again at the end for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the training. 

Pre-requisite recommendation:  Modules #1, #2, #3, and #4.
